Service Reservoir, Abercrave

While most reservoirs in the national park are pretty obvious large bodies of water some are a lot less visible. This pipe feeds a covered service reservoir and would be invisible but for the pipes and signs. Service reservoirs hold water that is ready to drink close to the houses they provide, unlike the larger ones nestling in the valleys that capture rainwater from the mountains for treating prior to distribution. Unlike the competing water companies in England, Welsh Water is a company with no shareholders and is run solely for the benefit of customers. Water is one resource I think it would be safe to assume Wales will never run out of!
