Roadkill, A4059

If you drive over the mountain roads in the National Park often you will undoubtedly come across a dead sheep by the side of the road at some point. A combination of new lambs born earlier in the year unaware of the dangers and more numerous drivers (also unaware of the wandering sheep) seems to result in a peak number over the summer. This was one of three fresh carcasses on the A4059 when I photographed it. Judging by the amount of plastic car parts scattered around the sheep the damage is not just one-sided.
