MAKING A BOOKING

To make a booking please contact us so that we can first discuss your requirements. Alternatively print a copy of our Booking Form and mail the completed form to our postal address.

LOCATIONS COVERED

Published prices for portrait sessions are valid for homes in the central Brecon Beacons area including the following towns: Brecon, Sennybridge, Glynneath, Ystradgynlais, Aberdare & Merthyr Tydfil. If the location of your house appears of this map it is likely that we will visit your house for no additional charge. Outside of this area an additional charge will be payable. Please email us for details.

TIMES AVAILABLE FOR PHOTO SESSIONS

In general any times are are available for photo sessions (including evenings and weekends) but for obvious reasons please ensure that the time requested does not correspond to you child's usual nap time or meal times.

TIME REQUIRED

Portrait Sessions will usually last between 30-60 mins, plus the time required to set up and pack away the equipment. If you allow 2 hours this should be more than enough.

EQUIPMENT USED

All images are captured on a high resolution professional digital SLR camera using studio flash equipment.

SPACE NEEDED

To enable the photographer to make full use of the studio lighting and background you will require a room space of 2.5m x 3m (approx 8’ x 9’). As long as there is a power supply in the room and you can make the space available (by moving furniture if necessary) the room will be OK. A garage can be used if it is the only space available. Sessions are also possible in smaller spaces using your natural environment rather than a studio background.

PHOTOGRAPHS OUTSIDE

If you wish to have photographs taken outside in your own garden or another location (providing there are no photographic restrictions) this can be arranged. Please discuss your requirements when you make the booking.

CLOTHING RECOMMENDATIONS

Obviously dress your children however you think they look best for the images you want to achieve. Bright colours are recommended for the most impact and white should generally be avoided as it tends to merge with the background (unless you want a dark background). If you plan to have two or more children photographed together please avoid colours or patterns that clash.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

Children can be unpredictable - something that we fully understand. If during the session it is not possible to obtain any usable images you will be offered a full refund on the cost of the studio session.

REVIEWING AND CHOOSING PRINTS

After the studio session the images will be digitally processed and posted on a dedicated webpage for you to review at your leisure. The time between the images being taken and posted on the website will usually be less than a week and you will be notified by email when they are ready for viewing. If you are not able to access the internet to view the images we can visit your home and show you the images on a laptop computer.

When you have selected the images that you wish to purchase as prints you can email your requirements directly to us and your prints will usually be sent to you within a couple of weeks (time dependent on size of prints ordered and framing options requested).

IMAGE COPYRIGHT, STORAGE AND USAGE

All images taken are the copyright of Matt Botwood and may not be copied without authorisation from Matt Botwood Photography. Images will be stored for at least 6 months so that you can request reprints at future dates. Images will only be used by Matt Botwood Photography for promotional purposes in relation to the Contemporary Family Portraits service (unless you request otherwise). Images will not be sold to third parties or used for any other purpose unless agreed in writing with the customer.
