Venice is a fantastic place for photography with tonnes of photogenic
locations and little intrusion from modern life. But the big problem
with Venice is that all the key locations have been photographed so many
times that it is hard to find a novel view.
After spotting a few bell pushes that resembled faces, and realising that no two designs seemed to be the same, I set out to capture as many different designs as I could find in the Dorsoduro area of the city. The resulting montage gives an insight into the variety in architectural detail that would probably be overlooked by the casual tourist.
