Taken every year since 2008 this series of montages document a day in the life of my two children each year as they grow up.

My aim has been to capture the everyday activities that normally escape the family snapshot but maintain the snapshot photography ethic (no studio set-ups here).

Perfect exposure, composition and sharpness have often been sacrificed to obtain the shot of the moment.

This series will be added to each year with the aim of producing a large body of work documenting how the normal daily activities of a child change over the years (or how similar they remain).
