Although it's 20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall there are still a few long stretches standing - mainly as memorials to the era of the wall and one notable graffiti art gallery. This small selection of images shows the wall in a variety of environments: it's raw concrete state, as a backdrop to current Berliners' everyday lives, as a gallery and as it would have appeared to East Berliners when it was there to stop them defecting to the West(Click on thumbnail to view larger image) |
