Boring, monotonous, impenetrable, dark, lifeless.....how do you think of forestry commission land? In this series of images I have sought to represent the forestry around the Brecon Beacons the way I see it - peaceful and empty but with occasional traces of man's involvement. Although it is true that forestry land is very ordered and regular, it is this in part which appeals to me and helps me to achieve my minimalist compositions.Click on thumbnail to view larger image. |
