Child's Day

This project  illustrates a child's day, documenting the daily routine from a variety of viewpoints.

It aim was to show the changing environments, emotions and activities that make up the child's world. Activities and emotions that are often similar to adults, but made distinct by a child's lack of self conscious behaviour.

Key to the approach was getting down to the child's level to see how they view the world, rather than taking images from an adult's viewpoint.

For indoor shots, available light and high ISO settings were used (rather than flash) to avoid unnatural lighting and capture the true mood of the moment.
