January 2012 - Railings

An old image to start the year. A year in which I intend to return to two styles of photography which I have neglected of late: more abstract images and monochrome images. Watch this space...

Does it matter where this was? Probably not....but for the record it is Aberafan seafront.

December 2011 - Cooling Towers

I've always wanted an opportunity to capture some images of power station cooling towers - I really like industrial architecture. The problem is that snooping around power stations with a large camera usually attracts attention from security guards and the police that I'm not very keen on.

In this instance I was fortuitously stuck on a train for nearly 30 mins with this view. Alas I didn't have a "proper" camera with me, but my iPhone came to the rescue and produced some suitably interesting images including this one

November 2011 - Sky

Sometimes the landscape is not so interesting but the sky is still great. Not particularly good light this day in the Malvern Hills but nice clouds.
