January 2012 - Railings An old image to start the year. A year in which I intend to return to two styles of photography which I have neglected of late: more abstract images and monochrome images. Watch this space... Does it matter where this was? Probably not....but for the record it is Aberafan seafront. Technical Details ISO200 Aperture f4 Shutter Speed 1/125s (plus some camera movement)

December 2011 - Cooling Towers I've always wanted an opportunity to capture some images of power station cooling towers - I really like industrial architecture. The problem is that snooping around power stations with a large camera usually attracts attention from security guards and the police that I'm not very keen on. In this instance I was fortuitously stuck on a train for nearly 30 mins with this view. Alas I didn't have a "proper" camera with me, but my iPhone came to the rescue and produced some suitably interesting images including this one Technical Details iPhone Image + CameraBag App Processing
